Backyard Connecticut started as a project with my good friend Drew K.

Drew accompanies me on the majority of shoots posted to the @backyardconnecticut instagram. 

A significant majority of photos I take occur within Connecticut, however there is a separate showcase for photos taken outside of the state. 

Backyard Connecticut shots are rarely planned out; and embrace a spontaneous nature. We explore, admire, and find beauty where it is often overlooked.  Most photos are shot in low light with long exposures, adding a unique viewpoint that neither daylight nor the naked eye can offer.
